Dead Rat Teaser - Max and Claudette

Max (Jeremy "Marvin" Ndiffer), definitely encumbered, and Claudette (Melissa Bell), sorceress from a rather sadistic family.  These are the last two characters of the group, so on to background and painting, woot!

Dead Rat Teaser - Francisco

Another character for the Dead Rat crew commission, a Castillian swordsman named Francisco (Ryan Boyd).  He was described as brooding but always smirking.  I suppose that translated as "dashing" for me...

Dead Rat Teaser - Filippa and Alvinder

These guys are part of a bigger (HUGE) piece commissioned by Marvin Ndiffer, featuring five characters from one of Martin Taylor's 7th Sea campaigns.  Here we have the lineart for our sea-faring lovebirds, Filippa (Liza Kurtz) and Alvinder (Cameron...what is your last name?).  Nothing says "I'd die for you" like your own walking arsenal.  More teasers for this project soonish.

Pickman's Model

This project began life as an acrylic painting, with Breck (my man) modeling Lovecraft's infamous Pickman.  It never got past its underpainting.  Luckily, I've been trying to develop some decent digital painting skills and I thought this would make a fun illustration.  You know, birdsong and sunshine.  I then discovered that rendering can be enjoyable.  What?

In other news, I've been working on concept designs for a personal comic project that Breck and I are co-writing.  More on that at a later date.
